Recent Projects

In the past year we have delivered eleven major projects of six different types to one association, three financial services companies, and three pharmaceutical companies.

Meetings Program Gap Assessments
This engagement consists of a current state analysis of all meetings management program components compared to a proposed future state model. We then identify the gaps between the two, and provide guidance to get from current to future state.

Meetings Program Strategic Design
A strategic design engagement covers 13 areas of a meetings management program, and provides recommendations on items such as policy, scope of the program, and service configuration. The final deliverable serves as the basis for the configuration of the program.

Meetings Policy Assessment & Development
This engagement consists of assessment and policy development phases. The complimentary assessment reviews an existing Meetings policy across 15 policy areas and a total of 70 questions, and provides a 0-100 score on the health of the policy. Policy areas requiring attention are then addressed in the policy development phase where we work with your internal HR, Finance, Legal, and Security experts to develop a new policy document, based on our best practices policy template.

This engagement type was delivered to:

• 2 financial services companies
• 1 pharmaceutical company

Global Change Management Program
Change management for meetings utilizes standard tools to identify potential pockets of resistance to the meetings management program and the development of targeted messaging for those audiences, taking into consideration their unique perspectives. This typically requires a three-pronged approach of messaging to upper management, meeting owners/stakeholders, and internal meeting planners. This engagement provides for the development of a strategy, as well as the development of specific messaging for the target audiences in a variety of media.

Training Materials Development
Training materials development is important for many aspects of a meetings management program, such as how to use a centralized meetings technology system, or, in the case of this engagement, how to integrate demand management into the program.

• 1 pharmaceutical company

Meetings Preferred Hotel Program Development
Using your card/travel data we compile a list of potential venues to serve as meeting hotels for your organization. Only properties in your transient hotel program are included in order to maximize leverage during seasonal negotiations. We then negotiate with the chains/properties to be included in the program. Upon completion of negotiations we develop a high level change management strategy, and draft the necessary communication documents.
